A collection of unique printed fabrics inspired by the landscape and the intricate relationship between humans and nature. We are all searching for a place where we feel safe, at ease — a space where we can simply be ourselves. I, too, have been on that journey. I began asking myself: What is my true place in this world? Is it defined by the physical surroundings, or is it something deeper? “My Space” is a reflection of the inner world we carry within — a spiritual landscape shaped by memory, emotion, and our connection to the environment. All of my artworks are rooted in nature. They are shaped by personal experiences, feelings, and the ever-changing environment that surrounds me. This collection was born during a period of time spent near Lake Mývatn in northern Iceland. The surrounding lava fields became a sacred part of my daily rhythm. I would go there to dance, meditate, and reconnect with myself. Over time, I began to feel stronger, more grounded, and I wanted to hold on to that energy. The sculptural forms of the lava inspired me to create printed fabrics — a way to carry the essence of that landscape with me, wherever I go. My interpretation of the lava fields is not a direct imitation of nature. Rather, it is a kind of altar — not in a religious sense, but as a personal monument. Through printing, I capture the memory of this powerful place and preserve the feeling it gave me.
