I am a visual and mixed textile artist, originally from the Czech Republic, whose work is deeply inspired by the diverse landscapes I’ve encountered—from the rolling hills of Slovakia to the rugged beauty of Iceland. My journey as an artist has been shaped by these environments, each offering a unique perspective on the intricate relationship between humanity and the natural world.
At the heart of my practice is an exploration of this connection, examining how we create and inhabit spaces, and how those spaces, in turn, shape us. My work is characterized by vivid, contrasting colors, which I use to convey the dynamic interplay between nature and the human experience. These colors reflect both the vibrancy of the landscapes I encounter and the emotional resonance they evoke within me.
In my graphic-style paintings and textile works, I aim to create immersive environments that transport the viewer into a space where reality and imagination blur. By doing so, I invite the audience to step into a world where the fleeting beauty of nature is preserved, a sanctuary where the ephemeral is celebrated.
